About Awana

What is?

Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. Awana is a wonderful tool for the kids in our church. Awana makes Scripture memorization fun and is geared to the needs of a range of ages and grades.

Awana Club meets during the school year every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Kids play games, learn scripture, and are encouraged to live out their faith.

GBC’s Awana program is for kids from preschool to 12th grade divided into the age ranges shown below.

Please help your child memorize and encourage their enthusiasm about the Lord. You always have an open invitation to visit any of our clubs.

AWANA has great resources online for leaders, parents, and kids. Check out their website at www.awana.org
